My son recently had his 3rd birthday and I was trying to think of activities for the kids to do. He had the customary 'jumping castle' but I wanted to have something for them to do that would get everyone involved. So what I ended up doing was buying a bunch of blank canvases from Crazy Clarks that cost about $5 each and then we put each child's name on them and the date of the party. Each child then grabbed their canvas and painted their hand and foot prints on it. We set up a little paddling pool with water and had a kind of production line going where one mum painted the feet & hands and another mum helped the child stamp the canvas and then they got into the paddling pool and washed off and continued playing. The canvases were left to dry out while we had cake and they all took home a unique personal gift with them. Share your birthday party activity stories here..
